Update on Melanie Harding: Please continue to pray for the pain to decrease, for rest, and for strength to return as she is healing. They are looking at potentially discharging her to a rehab center and working on insurance approvals for that step. Joe would love for you all to pray boldly that Melanie recovers quickly enough to skip rehab and go straight home! I'm praying for that with Joe!! Thanks for holding the Hardings up in prayer!

Please pray for Jorn, who is on a missions trip to Brazil. They have a planned event on Sunday to dedicate a horse ring that Jorn and Bonnie and Mercy Tree Ministry have been very involved in funding. There are around 60 people coming with their children, many of whom are not Christ followers. It will be a great opportunity to show them God's love and share the Gospel with them. They have put money in to have it catered as well, but if they get rain it will need to be cancelled because it will be too muddy to hold the event. Please pray for God's favor, for good weather, and that people are impacted by the Gospel and God's love!

My brother Jay has been in ICU for week now, internal bleeding (seems to be resolved but not sure) he is stable but need breathing support. We are taking it day by day. The Lord is definitely present and His peace is not just a comfort but a trusted friend. I am ever so grateful.

From Dan Nold: Please pray for Peter, who is a Kenyan missionary we support through our 1% offering, who works with the church in Kenya to develop leaders. He is asking for prayer for his daughter and wife who will both undergo major fibroid surgery. Pray for successful surgeries for both. Pray for comfort for Peter's family as they grieve the loss of his oldest brother 2 weeks ago, and for wisdom as he steps in to help care for his brothers children. And pray for sustaining grace, strength, and focus to navigate ministry demands during this heavy season! Thank you for praying!

Update from Joe Harding: Melanie is showing some signs of improvement, but there are still a lot of ups and downs. She is still in significant pain, and very weakened from what her body has been fighting. They are still determining what the best next steps are...transfer to another hospital, or if she continues to improve, transfer her to a rehab facility to help her regain strength. She is facing a long road of recovery. (From Lynn) Please pray for relief from the pain, for her body to regain strength and restore any function that has been lost or weakened, and that the recovery process would be supernaturally empowered and shorter than anyone would anticipate! Pray for wisdom and strength for Joe as he helps navigate the decisions being made and caring for Melanie. And pray that both Joe and Melanie feel the peace and presence of the Lord throughout every step of this journey to healing. Keep praying and thank you!

Please pray for Melanie Harding. She is battling Guillain-Barre syndrome, and is in severe pain. She has been in the hospital since Wednesday. Please pray for healing and relief from the pain she is experiencing. Pray for God's love and comfort for both Melanie and Joe. This syndrome causes your immune system to attack your peripheral nerves and the pain is significant. Thank you for lifting her up in prayer.

Please pray for the 1.5 year old niece of one of my CKC Lewistown staff. Her niece was born with “Bubble baby syndrome," or Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID). She had a bone marrow transplant as an infant and it seems that she might be needing a second one. Please pray that her immune system will start working so she does not have to go through a second transplant. Her family will get some answers on Monday from her medical team. Thank you.

Please pray for Grace McMurtrie who is recovering from 2 back surgeries, started radiation on some cancer cells they found around her vertebrae, and her kidneys are not functioning properly so she has been on dialysis. She is in a rehab nursing facility and needs healing in body and peace of mind. I've moved into a hotel near her these last few weeks, please pray that I would be a positive encouragement for Grace.

Please be in prayer for Paul and Marsha Kramer as they grieve the loss of the sudden death of their oldest granddaughter Sydney. She was 23 and the cause of death is unknown. She is also the niece of Joel and Robin Kramer. Tomorrow there is a ceremony as they bring her in the hospital to donate her organs. Pray for the parents Tim and Julee, who are the parents and for Avery who is the sister. Thank you for holding them up in prayer!

Calvary Kids Adventure Camp (https://www.calvarycwow.org/adventure-camp-2026 ) starts tonight, 5:30-8 and continues daily until ending Friday July 31 with a combined block party at SC Alliance Church.
